Jeremiah L. Jones

Founder · Chief Executive, Innovexon

Founder, Entrepreneur, and Creator of Innovexon Nexara™, the only known platform that solves a nearly 20+ year challenge with adopting new technology that he built over a nearly 30-year career across marketing, communications, technology, data, cybersecurity, capital, real estate, economic development, national security, and enterprise leadership.

Jeremiah L. Jones

Public Servant and National Security Expert

Jeremiah’s career began in public service as a Sailor in the U.S. Navy, where his military deployments carried him to more than 30 countries, across multiple continents, in support of military operations. After a decade of military service, Jeremiah continued his public service journey, leading Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, and Community Outreach. As a communicator, he would go on to author some of the more inspirational speeches, including some delivered by the President of the United States.

Regulator: The inspiration behind Innovexon Nexara

Following his military and communications career, Jeremiah shifted his focus to concentrate on challenges unique to new, emerging technologies. In 2008, Jeremiah joined a small, inaugural government and private sector team that would launch a host of new policies, programs, and initiatives that eventually, shaped the United States’ cybersecurity and telecommunications practices.

It is in this experience that Innovexon Nexara was born, where Jeremiah and national security leaders witness first-hand, the challenges of relying on vendors to tell companies how to adopt new technologies when history does not exist, when value is more speculative than actual, and insurers did not understand how to price a cyber breach.

Jeremiah would work with leaders from more than 100 Fortune 100 companies to design, shape, and ultimately release newer technologies. During the Obama Administration, Jeremiah was a part of the team that assisted with the roll-out LTE, 4G, and the design of the first-ever public safety network that has become FirstNet.

Turnaround Executive: Success after failure

Shortly after failing in his attempt to build and launch his first company, Jeremiah’s resilience led him to start a streak where he would successfully turn around 100% of the enterprises, leading them through reorganization, restructuring, consolidations, and elimination.

During the Trump Administration, Jeremiah was appointed by the White House as the first-ever Chief Strategist for the $13 real estate portfolio of more than 8,800 assets with more than 370 million of rentable square feet. He designed a $12B real estate investment strategy — a data-driven model for asset performance and capital investment that led to one of the largest federal reinvestments in repairs and modernization and secured $13B in reinvestment. He paired it with a $55M technology and data initiative that built a national risk framework for deciding where billions in capital should be prioritized.

Next, during the Biden Administration, Jeremiah was tapped as the first-ever Chief Operating Officer for an economic development agency, where he had the charge of turning a 50-year-old Agency into a national force, investing in more than 9 million marginalized and minority-owned businesses. Within six weeks, Jeremiah oversaw the launch of a $130M, 40+ network of incubator and accelerators who are uniquely informed by challenges facing marginalized and underrepresented enterprises.

Following his C-Suite performance record, in 2023, Jeremiah was once again tapped by a Presidential Administration to serve as the Chief Executive Officer of a for-profit corporation, where he would be faced with a $2M+ funding shortfall, and no new products or solutions in year 20 years. Within his first year, the Corporation’s revenue grew from $49M to $90M and put it on self-sustaining footing, and its operating costs decreased by more than 65%. Additionally, the Corporation launched a series of new solutions and products, including AI solutions and products. For the first time in more than a decade, the Corporation had positive net revenue and profits.

Why Innovexon

Why Innovexon

Innovexon came out of that operating experience, not out of theory. Jones built the firm from the perspective of someone who has had to make high-consequence decisions before the record was perfect, the risk was fully settled, or the outcome was guaranteed. It exists for the situations where capital, risk, technology, operations, and accountability all must hold together — where the quality of the judgment matters more than the speed of it.
